Bet the NFL Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts were a great team and a fierce competitor for anyone on the turf during the 2006 and 2007 NFL Seasons. Their super bowl rings are proof that whoever was betting on the Colts, made some money. But after such a season, and with expectations so high, one must ask, are they going to live up to it again?
Unfortunately, people betting on Indianapolis may be disillusioned to hear their team is currently plagued by injuries. With few days to go before the 2008-09 NFL Football season kick-off, this can be troubling news. They have four players (Bob Sanders, Marvin Harrison, Dwight Freeney and Peyton Manning) who are not in peak physical condition. Considering the strong opposition coming from their AFC East rivals, the New England Patriots, one must wonder if it is safe to bet on the Indianapolis Colts.
According to team statements, the Colts are coming into this season with "one of the most talented rosters in franchise history." Which is quite a claim considering their last year’s performance? Even though they are mustering up a whole lot of confidence, we must ask why they are claiming this when some of their most talented players are not going to be competing in full.
For everyone betting on the Indianapolis Colts, we wish you the best. It seems you will be depending on the availability of injured star players.
