Betting on the NFL Denver Broncos
Everyone, from the team, to the fans, to people just betting on the Broncos, had a very tumultuous off season for 2007. Two deaths, of cornerback Darrent Williams and running back Damian Nash, shocked the Denver to its very core. The current issue with Brandon Marshall's legal problems, seem like nothing in comparison. With all the issues they have face, they are listed by many bookies as a 50-1 bet to win the super bowl 2009.
The Broncos defense during the 2007 season was horrible to say the least. Now the Broncos have been working very hard on their defense. The head coach has brought in four new young's including Boss Bailey and Marlon McCree. They have also brought in veteran receivers Darrell Jackson and Samie Parker.
Denver has a steady amount of good running backs returning, including Young, Selving who was in part responsible to bringing in the 122 yard per game average of the Broncos for the 2007 season. And while they have lost some good players, like their kicker Jason Elam, they are an improving team.
While we don't recommend betting on the NFL Denver Broncos, if the line is right, this team may hold some surprises which can prove to be quite profitable for people betting on the Denver Broncos making the AFC West Championship or even the NFL Super Bowl.
