Philadelphia Eagles Betting
The Philadelphia Eagles have only had a couple of non-winning seasons. And with last years 8-8 mediocrity, many online football betting fans are expecting a lot more out of the Eagles. This is specially so when considering the large sum spent in free agency.
The offence of the Eagles is quite strong and surprisingly continuous with most of their players having been together several years. One of the weakest points of their offence is their receiving corps, which although they have maintained a low profile, need to step up.
The quarterback Donovan McNabb was seriously injured and last year he was just coming of reconstructive knee surgery. Even with his slow recovery last year he did an amazing 89.9 quarterback rating. This year he should be 100% back in action, and anyone betting on the Eagles should take this into consideration.
In defense the Eagles coordinator, Jim Johnson is probably one of the most underrated coaches in all of NFL football history. He was the one who taught Steve Spagnolo the strategy that Spagnolo later used to beat the Giants and win the super bowl. Johnson strategy for the Eagles tends to be to put pressure on his quarterback to force turnovers, and in this particular season it seems like everything will fall in place for Jim.
So we do recommend betting on the Eagles, not only for winning the NFC East Championship, but also for making some serious head way into the 2009 NFL Super Bowl.(baccarat strategy would be a better bet though :p)
