Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been increasing their record in the last two years which went from 4-12 two years ago, to 9-7 last year. Not only that, but everyone that was betting on them winning the NFC South Championship won some good money. Now they are back and they are challenging history, since no team has ever won the NFC South twice in a row.
Many are betting on New Orleans winning the NFC South Championship, even though they are not as strong a team. We believe this is, in great part because of the statistics against the Buccaneers. Aside from the last one quoted, John Gruden has been unable to provide consecutive winning years for his team.
There is a strong belief that the Buccaneers are too old and are faced by too much hardship having to play 3 cold weather teams during the season. But this perception is not all together true given the fact that many of their key players are young including linebacker Barrett Ruud, end Gaines Adams and safety Tanard Jackson.
In terms of schedule, betting on the Buccaneers seems even better given that they have an almost perfect layout. They are only going up against four of the same teams as last year. What is more, their cold weather opponents are all to be played before November third, so the cold should not pose too much of a problem. All in all, if you are looking to do some NFL football betting, the Buccaneers are a good choice given they are given decent odds and a decent line.
