Bet the Jacksonville Jaguars
Not many people would have bet on the Jacksonville Jaguars after their terrible performance during the 2006 NFL Preseason. But during the playoffs the few people betting on the Jaguars earned some good money when they nearly shocked the New England Patriots thanks to the great performance of quarter back David Garrard.
With the new confidence after their 2007 performance, the Jacksonville Jaguars have worked hard on correcting their teams defects. In this effort, they drafted two defensive ends; Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves. For their offense, the Jaguars acquired Jerry Porter and Troy Williamson. Unfortunately, Porter will miss the pre-season thanks to a hamstring injury and Matt Jones is under legal trouble because of drug possession.
All in all, we believe the Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the more balanced teams to bet on. They have proven to be continually improving and despite some injuries, they are a strong force to reckon with, even on the road. If you are going to be betting on the Jaguars, make sure to take into consideration their latest injuries.
